Tuesday June 21st - Day 18 - Home at last.

Day 18 - Total Miles 6260 Miles - Home at last - home at last.

Feels good to be home, now I need a vacation from my vacation.

The trip up Hwy 1 was very nice, cloudy most of the morning but once it burned off it was some spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.

Of course we had to stop and breathe the fresh air.

We made it through San Francisco around 3:30 pm so traffic was not that bad.

Sacramento was a warm 108 on the east side of the house and 110 on the west side. We came home for this?

The cats were happy to see us until they figured out it was not supper time yet.

 Of course now the hard work begins. Unpacking, cleaning and repairing the damage to the Charger and trailer.

This was a great vacation and I would like to say thanks to everyone that we met and hung out with along the way. Also a big thanks to those that kept an eye on our house and animals while we were gone. We could not have made this trip without you all.

The road was kind most of the time even though the weather got us from time to time and the road definitely left its mark on both the Charger and the trailer. Nothing that a little TLC and a hammer and a few screws can't fix (and a trip to NAPA).
